Hello, and welcome! My name is Tyra Redmond, and I attend Georgia Southern University. I'm a double major student studying: Multimedia Journalism and Food Science Nutrition. I've expressed interest in two separate fields because I'm passionate about spreading knowledge and awareness. 

 

I enjoy working toward my career goals and aspirations.  Journalism allows me to utilize communication skills through different areas of multimedia. With this platform, I can interact, communicate and inform. The courses I've taken thus far have allowed me to explore news reporting and writing, photojournalism, audio journalism, and broadcasting techniques that help bring a story to life. In the near future, I plan to apply these skills in my desired occupation as a news producer.
